àÃ×èͧÂèÍ Mr. Ho, "King of Gambling", got rich by gambling and is the leader of the Hong Kong Mah Jong industry in the 1950's. He has 3 wives, two sons and one daughter. On the surface the 3 wives appears to be living in harmony but they actually compete against each other for the family's wealth. Since all 3 wives know Kung Fu they sometimes have a martial arts showdown during dinner! Their fighting intensifies when Mr. Ho brings his love child, Ah Fai back home. Mr. Ho loves him very much, but the 3 wives and 2 sons hope to kick him out. Mr. Ho knows he is getting old, so he suggests 3 sons to manage each "Mah Jong" club for a period of time. If the one can get the best result, he will be his heir. To hider Ah Fai, they pay a huge amount to employ 3 experienced "Mah Jong" Cheating Masters: The Ghost, The Look, & The Vengeance and they manage to cheat the inexperience Ah Fai. Seeing that Ah Fai is about to lose, Mr. Ho seeks the help of the 3 "Mah Jong" masters of 1950's. As the 3 Masters are old and retired a long time ago they can only pass on their knowledge verbally. Ah Fai having natural talent was soon able to master the techniques and soon the real "Mah Jong" challenge begins! www.hkcinemagic.com/en/movie.asp?id=10558äÁèá¹èã¨ÇèÒÁÕ»ÑËÒàÃ×èͧ¹Ñ¡áÊ´§ÃÖà»ÅèҹРàËç¹ÅÔÊà¨Ô駨§¨ÕÁÒàÅè¹´éÇ ¤§ÊÒà˵عÕé·Õè˹ѧÅèÒªéÒ

ÍÍ¡´ÕÇÕ´Õ/ÇÕ«Õ´Õ 30 ¡Ñ¹ÂÒ¤èÐ Best known as Stephen Chow's portly buddy in Shaolin Soccer and Kung Fu Hustle, Lam Tze Chung made an impressive directorial debut in 2006 with the Focus: First Cuts film I'll Call You. Staying light and crowd-pleasing, his sophomore effort The Luckiest Man is a riotous but heartfelt comedy that mixes family feuding, mahjong, and slapstick into a distinctly Hong Kong film. Comedy veteran Nat Chan leads an ensemble cast family that includes TVB star Bosco Wong in his silver-screen debut; Sammo Hung offspring Timmy Hung and Stephen Chow regular Chan Kwok Kwan; and Yuen Qiu (Kung Fu Hustle), Pink Cheung, and Monica Chan as the catty wives. Comedic regulars Cheung Tat Ming, Vincent Kuk, and Tin Kai Man also make hilarious supporting appearances. Macau tycoon Stanley Ho may have made his fortune through casinos, but Hong Kong's Ho Bee Fat (Nat Chan) struck it big on mahjong. Getting on in years, he presides comfortably over a mahjong parlor empire and a large household of plotting wives and children eager to get a piece of the family fortune. The feuding gets even more heated when Ho brings in a long-lost son (Bosco Wong) whom the rest of the family quickly gang up on. To settle the inheritance issue once and for all, Ho challenges his three sons to each run a mahjong parlor branch. Winner takes all, but not everyone's going to play fair. www.yesasia.com/us/the-luckiest-man-dvd-us-version/1011957722-0-0-0-en/info.html
